Three Step Training

STEP 1

ONLINE TRAINING –
THEORY & PRACTICE

Two weeks prior to registration, students receive access to Online Training. Students are expected to complete their Online Training prior to the training date. There are online exams that must be completed, graded, and passed before the training date.

STEP 2

IN-CLASS TRAINING –
REAL LIFE PRACTICE

Theory review, practice drawings and techniques on paper and molds with Lauren. Perform the service on models. Receive immediate feedback on pressure, colour use, and strokes from the model and Lauren. This part of the training is the most difficult and, often, most valuable.

STEP 3

ONLINE FOLLOW-UP –
Q&A TIME

One week after the training, Lauren conducts a Zoom meeting with the students from the week before. This is a Q&A time, where students are encouraged to bring their questions to Lauren. It’s also an opportunity for students to hear from other students and learn from them.

Powder brows, also known as ombre brows, are a PMU technique designed to create a soft, powder makeup look that subtly fills in your eyebrows. The procedure involves using a cosmetic tattooing device to implant pigment into the upper layers of the skin, resulting in a gradient brow effect. The technique can be customized to provide a light, medium, or heavy makeup look depending on the individual's personal preference. The front of the brow remains lighter while it gradually gets darker towards the tail, thereby giving a beautifully defined yet natural appearance. Powder brows are a great solution for those who desire a fuller, well-shaped brow without the daily hassle of filling them in.

Both Nano blading and Microblading are popular techniques used in the field of semi-permanent makeup to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. However, they differ in their application technique, the tool used, and the results they achieve. Let's take a closer look at these differences:

1. Technique and Tools Used:
Microblading involves the use of a hand-held tool with a blade formed of tiny needles. The artist uses this tool to make small cuts in the skin in the shape of eyebrow hairs and then fills these cuts with pigment. The result mimics the appearance of natural eyebrow hair.

On the other hand, Nano blading (also known as digital microblading) uses a digital machine that powers a needle to implant the pigment into the skin. The needle used in Nano blading is much finer than the blade used in Microblading, which allows for the creation of even more precise and finer hair strokes.

2. Pain and Healing:
Since Nano blading uses a finer needle and causes less trauma to the skin, it is often considered less painful than Microblading. The healing process for Nano blading can also be quicker and smoother, with less swelling and redness post-procedure.

3. Results:
Both methods aim to create a natural-looking, fuller set of eyebrows. However, the results can vary based on the technique used.

Microblading offers somewhat bolder and more distinct strokes, which can be ideal for those who prefer defined and prominent eyebrows.

Nano blading, due to the finer needle, provides incredibly fine, crisp, and natural-looking hair strokes. It's often preferred by those who desire a very natural look to their brows, almost as if no treatment has been done.

4. Suitability:
Microblading is generally suitable for all skin types. However, Nano blading is often recommended for those with sensitive or oily skin as the procedure is less invasive, and the results tend to last longer on these skin types.

In conclusion, both Nano blading and Microblading are effective techniques for enhancing eyebrows, but the choice between the two should be based on individual skin type, pain tolerance, desired results, and the artist's expertise. Always consult with a professional artist to decide which procedure is best for you.
