What’s your business, and who are your customers?

Our products appeal to all ages and genders who are looking for clean, green products that promote healthier, longer, fuller lashes, brows, and hair. Our hero product is Revive7 Lash Serum. Revive7 Lash Serum is going to be celebrating ten years in June. This amazing lash serum shows noticeable results in 7 – 14 days.

Tell us about yourself

My passion is creating clean, green products that promote healthy beauty. I began my career as a lash technician. I created Revive7 Lash Serum to help my clients maintain healthy lashes. My career broadened as I expanded my services to permanent makeup. Simultaneously, I began a training academy and expanded our products to include eight products in the Revive7 Science Collection.

My motivation comes from the thrill I get when I see Revive7 products on the shelves when I walk into a retail location. I get goosebumps when a client tells expresses their excitement about how Revive7 Science has impacted their beauty routine. I love to see how Revive7 Science has improved the health of men’s and women’s lashes, brows, and hair.

What’s your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment, or the secret to my success, is two-fold. The first is being ready to pivot and adapt to change. When COVID hit, I thought that my business would collapse as I was unable to offer training or services. I double-downed, pivoted, and focused on selling Revive7. This focus propelled my business to the next level of success. My second secret is to surround yourself with a team that has the same vision as you and has the skills to make that vision a reality.

What’s one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is having to understand all aspects of the business, from concept development, product development, and testing, branding, and marketing, supply chain, pricing, shipping, and fulfillment. A business owner needs to be constantly growing and aware of technology and business partners that can improve the business, streamline processes, and improve profitability.

What are the top tips you’d give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Develop a plan.
  2. Create a team that can support you.
  3. Be open to change as opportunities present themselves.
