Did you take permanent makeup training prior to 2022? Time to update your skills!

Join us for our PMU Refresher course, hosted by Master Artist and LFC Founder, Lauren Spencer. Head PMU Trainers Macey and Shirin will be assisting to ensure all students have an opportunity for one-on-one supervision.

This course is designed for junior artists who trained prior to 2022, and need their skills updated. Certified and non-certified students welcome. The only prerequisite is students must have taken their previous microblading or PMU training with Lashforever Canada.

The PMU Refresher course includes:

  • application techniques
  • colour theory
  • hair flow strokes
  • brow mapping
  • troubleshooting
  • practice pad exercises
  • model work (students to work on each other)
  • ask the expert: Q&A with Lauren

*Students must bring their microblading or PMU professional kit, including their own blades, needles, machine, pigments, practice pads, mannequin heads, etc. 

    Shiren

    Shiren has over seven years of experience in the beauty industry! Her extensive knowledge in many areas of permanent makeup and sweet personality allow her continually provide her students with the best knowledge to get them started in their careers. Not only does Shiren teach alongside Lauren in the PMU Brow Artistry, Microblading, Scalp Pigmentation, and PMU Master Class, but she is a YorkU & teachers college graduate, as well as a Registered Practical Nurse, Skincare & Cosmetic Injectable Specialist, making her a great educator. She is always advancing and upgrading her skills in the beauty industry to stay up to date on the latest techniques and trends.

Online Training

This option allows you to progress as your own pace. A trainer is available to answer your questions via Zoom, Facetime, phone or email. After taking the course, students submit pictures of models that they have completed for grading. Once the student demonstrates proficiency, a certificate is printed and sent.

OPT Training

OPT is an acronym for Online and Personal Training. This option offers Online Learning for the theory, then In-Class Personal Training. In-Class includes a review of the theory material, a live demonstration by a trainer, and then the opportunity to practice under the supervision of a trainer. After taking the course, students submit pictures of models that they have completed for grading. Once the student demonstrates proficiency, a certificate is printed and sent.

In-Class Training

The option is the traditional approach to training. Students receive the theory ahead of time, it is reviewed thoroughly by the trainer, the trainer demonstrates the technique, students practice under the supervision of a trainer. After taking the course, students submit pictures of two to four models that they have completed for grading. Once the student demonstrates proficiency, a certificate is printed and sent.
